Growing up as an athlete and the daughter of an aerobics instructor from the 80s, group fitness is something that I have always felt drawn to. Sharing space and moving with others has offered me a sense of grounding, community, and motivation.
I have practiced yoga on-and-off since I was a young teen, mostly taking casual Vinyasa classes at the local gym and at-home classes from YouTube videos. It wasn't until a friend brought me to an Original Hot Yoga class at Inner Fire Yoga in 2022 that I fell in love with the consistent, disciplined, and focused practice that is the 26&2 series. The heat and postures were intimidating at first, but the more I practiced and learned, the more I appreciated the sequence of poses along with the specific dialogue.
In the spring of 2026, I completed the 100-hour Hot Yoga Intensive Teacher Training at Inner Fire Yoga. I hope to provide both beginners and experienced Hot Yogis with support and guidance to ignite their passion for the Hot Yoga practice and its benefits.
When I am not at the studio, you can find me at the cabin up north, canoe camping, or baking at home!
