In 2005, yoga was recommended to me by my doctor as part of my recovery from a long illness.  It didn’t take long before I began to notice the many benefits yoga has to offer. Yoga has been empowering and transformative to me.  It has given me more inner and outer strength enabling me to find a greater sense of balance, calmness and acceptance in my daily life.

Yoga became an increasingly important part of my quest for a healthy and positive lifestyle and I developed a passion to teach, guide and help others. I decided to become an instructor and obtained a certification in 2013 from Inner Fire Yoga in Madison.

During my classes, I strive to create a nurturing and positive environment for yogis to explore and connect with their mind, body and spirit.  I believe yoga can be transformative for everyone.

Previously, I was an elementary education teacher for 17 years in Arizona and my native Wisconsin.

I currently live in Middleton with my husband Mike, and our yellow lab, Rocky. We have three children.  Along with yoga, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, biking, swimming, baking and reading.
