Inner Fire Yoga TeacherWhen I made the commitment to establishing a yoga practice, I wasn’t looking for transformation. I was looking for relief. A few years ago, when my father passed away, I found myself overwhelmed by grief and disconnected from my own body. The moments I felt the most peace were on my mat, breathing, moving, and simply existing without expectation. That experience became the foundation of my practice and my path toward teaching.
Yoga helps me process what words often cannot. Through practice, I’ve come to understand how our bodies hold not only tension, but also memory, emotion, and the potential for healing. That understanding continues to guide how I show up - with compassion, curiosity, and a commitment to creating space for all bodies and experiences. I believe yoga should not be a luxury, but a practice available to everyone, especially those navigating stress, loss, or systemic barriers to wellness. Yoga is for every body and everybody.
My classes blend alignment-based vinyasa with grounding breathwork and mindful pauses. I encourage students to meet themselves where they are rather than where they think they should be. Whether it’s a slow flow, gentle stretch, or a stronger sequence, my intention is to help students reconnect with their bodies, release what they’ve been holding, and cultivate steadiness within. My approach is organized yet intuitive, structured yet adaptable, and serves as an invitation to explore presence and possibility at one’s own pace.
At the heart of my teaching is the belief that yoga is not about perfection or performance, but about relationships: the relationship between breath and movement, between effort and ease, and between the self and the world around us. My hope is that each class offers not just a physical practice, but a pathway to deeper self-awareness, compassion, and empowerment.
