Inner Fire Yoga TeacherI first started doing yoga quite a few years ago when I was running a wrestling school. At the time, my body was not happy with me. I had quite a few injuries and surgeries while wrestling in college so my body was pretty beat up, and yet I still continued to wrestle on a daily basis because that was my full time job.
I was looking for some sort of solution to help improve the way my body felt, especially my lower back, so I thought I would give yoga a shot. What I found out at my very first class was that I had just found so much more and I was hooked right away!
I did my first yoga class ever at Inner Fire Yoga. The first thing I noticed about it was that I LOVED the heat! I just love that feeling when I first walk in the room and my body immediately feels looser and not as stiff. The heat also adds an extra element that not only challenges my physical body, but also strengthens my mind.
Another thing that kept bringing me back to Inner Fire Yoga was the staff! Every single instructor was so friendly and positive and everyone gave off such great vibes! It lifted my mood just walking into the studio no matter what kind of day I was having. Each instructor was so inspiring and full of little nuggets of wisdom that I learned from every single class. It enriched my life in so many ways I never thought were possible. I always wanted to return that favor to the yoga community, so that is why I decided to get into teaching yoga.
I got my 200 hour Power Flow Teacher Training through Inner Fire Yoga. I teach power flow, slow flow, and Inner Fire Flow. My goal as a yoga teacher is to radiate positivity to all of my students through good vibes and good music and make it contagious. I remind them to never forget to have fun and PLAY, especially as adults. I also like to challenge my students through my creative and “powered up” sequences. I want to put a smile on every yogi’s face and inspire and empower all who step onto their mat to be better versions of themselves.
