Training Overview
Learn to teach the Original Hot Yoga sequence of 26 poses and 2 breathing exercises utilizing the tried-and-true method of memorizing and delivering a precise teacher dialogue.
This training will be an intense four weekends of reciting memorized dialogue, practicing Original Hot Yoga, breaking down the poses, learning modifications, and practicing proper transitions. We will also cover the history of this lineage and the five aspects of the mind that envelop the practice.

Approximate Training Schedule
- Saturdays 8am – 5:30pm
- Sundays 8am – 5:30pm
(subject to minor changes)
Prerequisites
Must have a passion for Original Hot Yoga (26&2 style).
Must have a regular, recent 26&2 practice of 2–3x/week.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Recommended (not required): completion of a 200-hour level yoga teacher training.
Certification
By the end of this 100-hour training, if you are able to convey the dialogue satisfactorily to the Director, you will earn a certificate showing you are qualified to teach the original 26&2 Hot Yoga sequence.
Inner Fire Yoga does not guarantee employment after training is completed.

Marit Sathrum
Owner & Director · Inner Fire Yoga
Marit was certified in 1997 by Bikram's Yoga College of India, 500-hour program. She is the owner/director of Inner Fire Yoga studios and has been training Original Hot Yoga teachers with the dialogue memorization method since 2013.

Await a formal acceptance email from IFY.
Submit payment to complete enrollment.
This training is offered by demand. If we do not enroll enough people by the application deadline (March 1, 2026) the training will be canceled and all tuition payments will be refunded in full. Please enroll as soon as you can so we can confirm the training ASAP.
