IFY East with Dar Vander Hoop

Immerse yourself in the healing practice of Yin Yoga! This training is designed for anyone interested in Yin Yoga – not just Yoga Instructors. Beginners are welcome!

Learn the fundamentals: appropriate use of props, anatomy, science, philosophy and mindfulness. Learn how to teach Yin Yoga properly, safely and confidently to yogis of all ages.

Location

This training will take place at Inner Fire Yoga East, located at 1813 East Washington Ave. There is free parking onsite in the first level of the Marling parking garage.

Nonmember rate: $425

Normal Rates After June 1:
Member rate: $445
Nonmember rate: $475

Graduates from Inner Fire Yoga’s Teacher Training program may receive the Early Bird Member rate ($395) regardless of member status or registration date. Please reach out to info@innerfireyoga.com to request this rate if you do not receive it automatically.


What’s Included

  • 50-page manual

  • All necessary yoga props (yoga mat, bolster, blocks, strap, blankets, sandbag – you are also welcome to bring your own)

  • An official certificate of completion from Inner Fire Yoga, including the ability for Registered Yoga Teachers to log 15 CE credits with the Yoga Alliance

  • OPTIONAL: a spot in Dar’s Aroma Yin event, Saturday, June 29, 6:30-9pm at Inner Fire Yoga West (5003 University Ave). Registered Yoga Teachers who opt to assist during the Aroma Yin event will earn an extra 3 CE credits.

About the Trainer

Dar Vander Hoop is certified by master teacher Bernie Clark and has trained over 260 Yin teachers across the world since 2014. She has a degree from UW Madison in Dance Movement Therapy and has been teaching yoga since 1979. Dar began teaching at Inner Fire Yoga right away after its inception in 2002.
