This training is designed for anyone interested in Yin Yoga, not just yoga instructors. Beginners are welcome.
Learn the fundamentals: appropriate use of props, anatomy, science, philosophy, and mindfulness. Discover how to teach Yin Yoga properly, safely, and confidently to yogis of all ages.

- Comprehensive Yin Yoga teacher's manual
- All necessary props for use during trainingYoga mat, bolster, blocks, strap, blankets, and sandbag. You are also welcome to bring your own.
- An official certificate of completionFrom Inner Fire Yoga and Dar Vander Hoop, including the ability for Registered Yoga Teachers to log 15 CE credits with the Yoga Alliance.
Required & Recommended Books
Books are not included in the training fee.
"The Complete Guide to Yin Yoga" by Bernie Clark. Required for this training and should be purchased separately from your tuition payment. Purchase on Amazon or call your favorite local bookstore.
"Insight Yoga" by Sarah Powers. Recommended for this training, but not required.
Your Trainer

Dar Vander Hoop
Dar is certified by master teacher Bernie Clark and has trained over 275 Yin teachers across the world since 2014. She holds a degree from UW Madison in Dance Movement Therapy and has been teaching yoga since 1979.
Dar began teaching at Inner Fire Yoga right away after its inception in 2002.
