While some might shy away from hot yoga during the warmer months, we believe summer is actually the perfect time to deepen your practice, challenge your limits, and stay energized through movement, sweat, and community. Whether you're traveling, juggling a new schedule, or just trying to stay cool, here’s your guide to becoming a true #HotYogaSummer Warrior.
Embrace the Hot Yoga Glow
Practicing hot yoga during the warmer months helps your body adapt more efficiently to high temperatures, improves cardiovascular performance, and boosts your endurance. You’re already acclimating to the summer warmth, so your body won’t fight it – it’ll flow with it.
And let’s not forget: that post-class glow hits differently in summer. You’re already in your tank top and sandals, so you might as well let your yoga strength shine!
Hydration is Your Superpower
Summertime + hot yoga = a double sweat session. Staying hydrated is non-negotiable for your health, stamina, and recovery.
Follow these #HotYogaSummer Warrior hydration tips:
Drink water all day – not just before class.
Add electrolytes or coconut water to your diet for better replenishment.
Skip the sugary drinks – they can spike your blood sugar and can leave you even more dehydrated.
After class, replenish with a healthy, hydrating snack, like a piece of fruit or a smoothie.
Gear Up for Summer Success
Ditch the thick cotton and invest in lightweight, sweat-wicking yoga clothes. Bonus points for bright colors and summer prints that make you feel energized before you even hit the mat.
