You’ll find that my classes serve as a personal journey of self-exploration. The music, the postures, and the breath all come together to create a beautiful harmony to heal the mind, body and soul. I believe mantras and chanting are powerful healers. Inside each of us, is a voice yearning to be heard. For me, yoga is a very spiritual practice. It allows us to delve into the relationship of that which is beyond us as individuals, something greater than we are.  Yoga has truly changed my life – I am so happy I am able to give back and help others change their lives for the better through the power of yoga.

My teaching style is inspired by Bhakti Yoga.  Inviting music and mantra into my practice ignited a powerful experience.  For years I was looking for a way to deepen my practice, and I found it by looking beyond the physical element.

I love to be creative with my sequencing.  I am inspired by dance, and the way the body moves between postures and transitions.  You can expect funky variations on traditional postures, and classes that will open, strengthen, and balance the mind and body.

I am inspired by my teachers who have guided me on my path, and in life.  My yoga journey began as I walked through the doors of Inner Fire Yoga at a very challenging point of my life.  The teachers at Inner Fire touched my heart more than they will ever know.  I look forward to more opportunities to learn from my teachers (Rusty Wells, Rachel Brathen, Jason Crandell and Janet Stone).

A dedicated yogi, I enjoy practicing yoga as much as I can, and spending time learning about the many realms of the yoga spectrum. I invite everyone to arrive on their mat to heal, learn to love themselves and others, and to break through the barriers that can prevent one from achieving their biggest dreams.

“Took a class with Adrienne yesterday. This twenty something’s calm “quiet” woman’s voice is strong, compassionate, knowledgeable, commanding and informative. What more could one want from a class? As one of the first graduates from I. F. there are no if’s about her work. Her work shines and builds good heat and healing.” - Meisha Leibson
