How to Play Bing-OM

This Spring (2024), Inner Fire Yoga is bringing back the Bing-OM challenge (aka Yoga Bingo)! Here’s how it works, and why you should participate 🙂

Bing-OM is a fun way to gamify your yoga practice and try new things. Let’s face it – it’s easy to get stuck in a routine and start to feel blah about your yoga practice. As you play Bing-OM with us, you’ll be prompted to try new classes, teachers, poses and more. Trust me – you will not be bored this spring if you participate!

How it Works

Each square on the Bing-OM grid is a prompt. You can find a key for the prompts in the center of the sticker charts (scroll down for the full list). After you complete a prompt, put a sticker on the square. You have from April 15 til May 15 to try to complete as many squares as possible. Get five squares in a row, column or diagonal – win a prize! If you blackout the board and complete 100% of the prompts, you’ll win an even bigger prize…

To play, simply write your name above one of the Bing-OM grids on the sticker charts at either Inner Fire Yoga studio.

Here’s what the grid looks like:

And here’s what each of those prompts means:

Laughter Yoga: Tell a yoga-related joke to one of our staff

Prop Master: Use a block or strap in a new way during class

Be Kind: Perform a random act of kindness to a fellow Inner Fire Yogi

True Hot Yogi: Take any 3 Original Hot classes throughout the month

New Friends: Introduce yourself to someone you don’t know before or after class

Night Owl: Take the last class of the day

Ignite Your Inner Fire: Take any 3 Inner Fire Flow classes throughout the month

Yoga Nap: Stay in savasana longer than you usually do

Show Some Love: Leave us a five-star review on Google

2-in-1: Take two classes in one day

Power Play: Take any 3 Power classes throughout the month

Early Bird: Take the first class of the day

Feel the Burn: Try our new fitness-style class, Inner Fire BURN

X Marks the Spot: Lay your mat down in a new spot in the room

Weekend Warrior: Attend any Saturday or Sunday class

7-Day Challenge: Practice every day for a full week

Yoga Swag: Show your Inner Fire Pride by wearing your IFY swag out and about (hoodie, T-shirt, tank, etc.)

Slow Down: Take any 3 Slow Flow classes throughout the month

Be Our Guest: Use your guest pass on a friend who has never been to IFY before

Be Still: Set an intention of improved focus during class, no unnecessary movement

Generous Heart: Donate or bid on an item in our silent auction fundraiser for DAIS

Be Curious: Ask the teacher a question about yoga after class

Social Butterfly: Post a pic in your favorite yoga pose after class & tag @innerfireyoga

Mix It Up: Take a class with any teacher that you've never taken class with before

Yinster: Take any 3 Yin classes throughout the month
