Completion of our 200-hour Teacher Training program will earn you a 200-hour Yoga Teacher certificate. This certification is recognized at studios and yoga centers across the world and enables you to register with the Yoga Alliance at the 200-hr level.

Inner Fire Yoga is a Registered Yoga School with the Yoga Alliance, a globally recognized nonprofit organization that provides oversight to the professional yoga community. Our 200-hour training program will help you turn your passion for yoga into a professional endeavor. Our Promise
You will get a well-rounded yoga education and study a variety of yoga styles in our program, but our primary goal is to prepare you to teach vinyasa / power flow style yoga classes right after graduation. You will gain confidence and leadership skills as you practice teaching to your fellow trainees throughout the training, plus receive invaluable feedback from highly skilled instructors to help you be the best yoga teacher you can be.

Prerequisites
There are only three requirements in order to be considered for our program:
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a current, recent, regular yoga practice: 2-3x/week or more within the past 3 months (does not have to be at Inner Fire Yoga).
Must have a passion for yoga!

200-Hour Core Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum
In our program, you will ultimately learn to teach a power flow (vinyasa) style yoga class. The curriculum includes but is not limited to: anatomy, physiology, history, philosophy, psychology of yoga, asana technique, meditation, subtle body energies, sequencing, teaching methodologies, communication skills, business, voice/authenticity, and more.

Early Bird Discount: Pay in full by August 1 to receive $300 off! $3200 $2900 with early bird discount. Discount is automatically applied at checkout. Tuition is full-priced from August 2 onward. If paying in full, tuition is due one month in advance of the training (payment plan info below).
Enrollment Process
Fill out our online application or apply for a scholarship (one or the other will suffice).
Await a formal acceptance email from our staff (we may need to request more info first).
After acceptance, we will reach out to coordinate your tuition payment.
Payment Plans: Participants enrolling in a payment plan will pay a $100 deposit at checkout. Remaining tuition will be broken down into four monthly installments. Your first installment must be paid by the tuition deadline (one month prior to the start date of training) in order to complete your enrollment. Any remaining tuition due as of the first day of training will be charged as one lump sum to the card on file. Your final payment will be made on the first day of training, or on the last installment date as per the monthly payment plan schedule — whichever comes first. Your tuition fees must be paid in full in order to graduate and receive your 200-hour certificate.
Additional Costs: Required reading materials and the online Anatomy course are not included in your tuition. The cost of these items will vary by vendor, but averages about $105-120. See catalog for details.

Inner Fire Yoga believes that money should not be a barrier to chasing your passion and becoming a yoga teacher. We offer a limited number of scholarships to those who wish to participate in our 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program, but are experiencing financial hardship or do not have the means to pay the full tuition amount. Each year, one applicant will be awarded a $500 scholarship and one applicant will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to offset the price of tuition. Inner Fire Yoga does not offer full-ride scholarships.

Eligibility: Scholarship funds are limited. To be eligible, you must meet the following prerequisites:
Must exhibit a true need for financial aid.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have a current, recent, regular yoga practice: 2-3x/week or more within the past 3 months (does not have to be at Inner Fire Yoga).
Must have a passion for yoga!
Yogis of the BIPOC, LBGTQ, and other minority communities are strongly encouraged to apply!
How to Apply: Apply for a Yoga Teacher Training scholarship online using the button below, which will take you to our online scholarship application form. Upon submission, a manager will reach out to you within one week to confirm receipt of your application. Additional information may be requested of you after your application is submitted.
Final decisions will be made shortly after the scholarship application deadline listed above. All applicants will be notified whether or not they have been selected as scholarship recipients.
Your scholarship application will serve as your application for acceptance into the Teacher Training program. You do not also need to fill out a program application in order to enroll.

When is the deadline to apply? The deadline to apply for each 200-hour session is August 1 (training starts the following October). This date is also the scholarship application deadline.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind? In most cases, yes. See the catalog for our detailed refund policy.
If I’m applying for a scholarship, do I also have to fill out a regular program application? Nope! Either/or will suffice as your application for acceptance into our program.
Currently, I don’t quite practice 2-3x/week. Does that make me ineligible? Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of the owner, but we recommend having a dedicated yoga practice before enrolling in teacher training. The program is physically rigorous and your body needs to be prepared for lots of yoga!
Do I get to teach at Inner Fire Yoga after I’m certified? Not necessarily. Inner Fire Yoga does not guarantee employment after graduation. We typically only hire teachers with some amount of direct teaching experience. That said, if the studio is actively hiring teachers, we would welcome auditions from our graduates if they completed the training in good standing. Many of our current teaching staff graduated from Inner Fire Yoga’s Teacher Training program.
