Tony D'Alessandro

Yoga Teacher

I began my yoga journey in 2009 after my son brought me to Inner Fire Yoga for an Original Hot Yoga class. I have been coming to Inner Fire Yoga ever since.

My initial reasons for a yoga practice were for the heat, stretching, and strengthening of power flow. Yoga was the perfect antidote to my triathlon training.

As I became a regular and dedicated practitioner, yoga became more than a physical practice. Making space for myself on the mat was a way to care for myself.Leaving the stress of the world outside, even if briefly, was healing.

Yoga has always been centering for me and helped me better face the challenges of caring for my patients as a transplant surgeon. Since my retirement in 2023 from surgery and triathlons, my yoga practice has expanded.

I love to teach and have become certified in Yin yoga and I am now pursuing training in Original Hot Yoga.

Please join me for a class where we will all breathe, move, restore and learn together and have a little fun along the way.
