I started my practice in the summer of 2009. The months leading up to my first class might have been the most stressful in my life to date: I had trouble breathing, everything felt frantic, and things felt like they were falling apart around me. I needed out, while still being in it all. I needed to learn to breath, to find peace and calm. I learned quickly that yoga would show me where those things were in me, allowing me to still be in life and actually enjoy it! My practice turned into a near-daily meditation as I peeled away more and more layers, discovering things about myself I had not known before.

Wanting to expand my knowledge and dedicate myself further to yoga, I enrolled in and completed Inner Fire Yoga’s 200-hour teacher training with a concentration in Power Flow, finishing the program in December 2011. I teach from your foundation up: get grounded, expand upward, and radiate outward from your heart. Flexibility and strength building are an important part of this. Hands-on assists and adjustments are a vital part of my teaching. I look forward to seeing you in class.
