My yoga journey began when my Mother, a practicing member of Inner Fire Yoga since 2009, brought me to my first heated yoga class on Christmas Eve of 2011. I immediately fell in love with the feeling of accomplishment and true bliss after that initial class. I stepped right back on to the mat again the day after Christmas and have continued through my yoga journey and practice ever since. During my academic career I realized that I needed to find a healthy way to manage stress. As someone who has struggled to maintain a consistent running or jogging routine, yoga became a fun and rewarding refuge from the storm of expectations and deadlines. Yoga has helped me to maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout many challenges and changes. In August of 2014 I graduated from University of Madison Wisconsin School of Business with a major in Marketing. When I left the University, I knew I wanted to use my training and education to work in an inviting and compassionate environment and to serve the Madison Community. I am so thrilled to be a part of this strong and supportive yogi community and to work for a company that shares my values of compassion and consciousness. I love sharing my passion for yoga and the amazing benefits that it brings to the well-being of individuals and this greater community.
