I began my practicing yoga in 2013, with my mom and older sisters. Yoga was initially a form of de-stressing for me. It provided me with a means to counteract the stresses exerted upon my body from years of competitive soccer, swimming, and dancing. My practice developed once I fell in love with Hot Yoga in 2015. I felt rejuvenated and relaxed after each session and it quickly became part of my weekly routine. After attending my first Hot HIIT class (called FiT at Inner Fire Yoga) at Bikram Yoga in Rye, NY, I felt extremely humbled by the challenges of high intensity in a heated room. Once I began my freshman year at UW Madison yoga and sculpt quickly became my main source of relaxation and working out. In the spring of 2018 I completed my teacher training for Hot HIIT and began teaching at Bikram Yoga Rye Brook and I am so excited to be able to teach this class in Madison.
I love any physical activity where you challenge yourself physically and mentally. My goal for each class is for everyone to walk out feeling better than when they walked in!
